With great anticipation, Louis Vuitton announces the arrival of Louis Vuitton Ginza Namiki in Tokyo’s Ginza district. The store presents an ambitious transformation of an existing location. Reimagined as an aesthetic dialogue between virtuoso architects Jun Aoki and Peter Marino, an entirely new, naturalistic tower rises, inspiring wonder – both outside and within.

The view, captured from a building across the street, vividly showcases this distinctive structure. While the familiar alleys of Ginza boast numerous eye-catching buildings, this particular one stands out even more due to its cool blue tones, contrasting with the warm hues prevalent in most Ginza architecture.
Under the guidance and anticipation of fashion enthusiasts, Louis Vuitton’s brand-new Ginza store was grandly unveiled. As expected, the façade of this architectural masterpiece, designed by the renowned Jun Aoki, features double-layered glass and is intricately sculpted with a flowing wave pattern.
The seamless outer glass panels curve and ripple, creating a three-dimensional effect. The dual-color film adds vibrant variations to the design, enhancing the grandeur of the high-ceilinged building. The seven-story store includes four retail floors, featuring women’s leather goods, watches, jewelry, and a dedicated space for seasonal pop-up shops.
Peter Marino’s design for the Louis Vuitton store harmonizes with organic aesthetics. The central staircase, crafted from solid oak, stands out against the glass-bordered ribbons, creating a lively and impressive atmosphere that reflects Ginza’s vibrancy. The surrounding high towers appear like undulating waves.
The skyline stretches across the glass, turning everyday walks into an artistic passage. At night, bright reflections dance at the base, gradually fading upward, creating an otherworldly illusion.
The double-layered transparent entrance curves upward, serving as the main focal point for entering the store. Inside, you’ll find Louis Vuitton’s signature window displays.
The second staircase faces the rear of the store and is surrounded by a four-story high display wall.
Water’s captivating aspect lies in its unpredictable flow. In this building, architect Jun Aoki seamlessly integrates this “flowing river” concept into the architecture and space. As you move through the store, you’ll notice curved counters and ceilings, creating a continuous sense of movement.
In the women’s leather goods and accessories section, the store sells travel items, perfumes, women’s clothing, and women’s shoes. Exclusive to the Ginza Namiki store, they offer leather bags such as the Capucines BB, made with gray canvas and deep blue leather, as well as the classic floral patterned Boîte Pharmacie travel case.
The women’s VIP salon floor exudes a playful atmosphere with its pink bubble-inspired design, adorned in Impressionist-style orange tones. Among the initial limited-edition offerings, you’ll find embroidered and pearl-adorned pieces, including a fully embroidered classic floral-patterned sequin dress and a slim Tambour wristwatch delicately adorned with blue and purple sparkles.
The top floor houses Le Café V, Louis Vuitton’s debut chocolate shop, Le Chocolat V. The store features works by 14 renowned artists, including Jun Aoki, Atelier Oï, and Nendo. These artists collaborated with Louis Vuitton to create the Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades collection.
The cocoon by Fernando & Humberto Campana in the collection stands out with its bold colors and distinctive shape. It evokes intuitive, hopeful, and joyful feelings, transforming traditional craftsmanship and travel-inspired items into a diverse and modern version. Additionally, innovative chocolate drinks by renowned chef Yosuke Suga will make a strong debut at the end of April.
In addition to showcasing all the latest products, this specialty store also offers exclusive beverage services.
The arrangement of chairs, decorative pieces, carpets, and artworks adapts to different expressive tones: Men’s Floor: Vibrant shades of blue-green and lime dominate this area.
