Café de Lugano, brimming with exotic vibes, is located on the first floor of Taipei Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Designed by renowned American designer Barbara Allen, it blends American, Southern European, and North African styles to create a warm atmosphere. Stepping inside, you can’t help but feel the urge to travel. Truly, it’s a chic, romantic, gallery-like café!
The furniture, paintings, and even the windows at Café de Lugano all have a unique style. Colorful pop art pieces by famous artists fill the space with artistic flair.
On the walls hang paintings by the contemporary French artist Jacques Pellegrin. Born in Provence, he draws inspiration from nature to create his unique style and color palette. His bold lines and unrestricted style exude a sense of freedom that transcends borders.
Each table and sofa in the café boasts a unique shape and style, yet they blend together seamlessly in the same space. It’s like experiencing the vibrant energy of Spanish flamenco one moment and stepping into a lively jazz pub in Manhattan around the next corner.
